The “powdery” rendering of Almond Green is enhanced by the precision of the Femtosecond Laser. Dr. Hojabr programs the laser to create a tunnel at an optimized depth, allowing the pigment to be layered homogeneously. Phototype analysis

Fair and rosy skin tones: Almond Green creates a perfect harmony with Nordic or Celtic-type skin.

  • Blonde, light brown, or red hair: This shade beautifully complements light hair tones, reinforcing the “natural-born” look.
  • Light brown or hazel base irises: Almond Green is most spectacular on these bases. By layering over a light brown iris, it creates rare shades of green-grey-gold.
A unisex approach

This color is highly popular among male patients due to its discretion. It allows for a significant brightening of the gaze while maintaining a virile and natural sobriety.

Before the intervention, we perform a high-definition digital simulation. For Almond Green, this step allows us to validate the density of the pigment. Do you prefer a very diffuse green (very close to grey) or a more assertive Almond Green?

The procedure is performed under simple local anesthesia (eye drops). The Femtosecond Laser prepares the cornea, and then the pigment is inserted. Recovery is quick: most of our patients resume their social activities the day after next. The final color stabilizes completely after 3 months, once the pigments have perfectly settled into the corneal tissue.

Is Almond Green visible on very dark eyes? 

Yes. Although it is a pastel color, its covering power is designed to transform even black irises. The result will simply be deeper and slightly darker than on a light base, which often enhances its realism.

Can the color be intensified later?

The FAKtP technique is evolutive. If, after a year, you find the result too subtle, it is entirely possible to have a touch-up session to further saturate the pigment or move toward a Jade Green.
