During the consultation, Dr. Hojabr performs a HD digital simulation. For the Honey shade, this step is paramount as it allows us to define the desired degree of “clarity.” Some patients prefer a deep amber (dark Honey), while others opt for a very luminous golden tone.

The procedure lasts about 45 minutes under local anesthesia. The Femtosecond Laser prepares the cornea in seconds, then the pigment is inserted with precision. Recovery is quick: the patient can resume social activities within 24 to 48 hours. The color stabilizes and gains transparency within 2 to 3 months.

Can the result look yellow?

No. The Honey pigment is balanced with earthy undertones to remain in the “light hazel” range. Dr. Hojabr’s goal is to obtain a natural amber gaze, not a fluorescent color.

Can Honey be mixed with another color?

Yes, it is possible during touch-ups to combine Honey with touches of Cinnamon for a spicier result, or Greige for a cooler and hybrid shade.
