Jade Green is an iconic shade in the Kerato World collection. Inspired by the depth of imperial jade and the lushness of nature, this shade offers a perfect balance between exoticism and realism. It is the color of choice for patients who desire a “pure green” look, without the grey or bluish undertones often found in light irises.

Thanks to the application of the FAKtP protocol, Jade Green allows for a spectacular metamorphosis, particularly on dark iris bases, by bringing a warm and vibrant brightness to the eyes.

The aesthetics of Jade Green

Jade Green is distinguished by its saturation. It is not a pastel green, but an assertive color that captures light and returns it with brilliance. Its rendering is often compared to “emerald” irises, which are rare in nature but highly sought after for their seductive power.

Natural radiance

Unlike temporary solutions, the Jade Green pigment inserted via the FAKtP technique does not mask the pupil. It creates a ring of color that interacts with the natural dilation of the eye, giving the green a living appearance. The contrast with the black pupil is striking, creating a deep and magnetic gaze.

Chromatic versatility

Jade Green has a unique feature: it adapts beautifully to variations in light.

  • In daylight: It reveals its true “meadow” green nature, fresh and vibrant.
  • In the evening: It takes on darker and more mysterious tones, leaning toward pine green, while retaining its intensity.

Pigment technology

Handling green pigments in ophthalmology requires absolute rigor. For Jade Green, Kerato World relies on the excellence of the BIOTIC Phocea laboratories and their range of biocompatible pigments.

Stability and biocompatibility

The Jade pigment is crafted from rigorously selected mineral and organic components.

  1. UV resistance: Green pigments are often sensitive to sunlight. The formulation is designed to resist photodegradation, ensuring your Jade Green will not fade into yellow or blue after a few years.
  2. Medical device: This pigment is approved by European health authorities. Its safety is tested to ensure that no inflammatory reaction occurs within the corneal stroma.

The surgical precision of the Femtosecond Laser

The insertion of Jade Green by Dr. Hojabr is an operation that requires great precision. The Femtosecond Laser allows for a tunnel to be created at a specific depth so that the pigment is protected by the upper layers of the cornea. This natural protection acts as a protective varnish, magnifying the brilliance of the green while securing its permanent position.

Jade Green is a shade that adapts to many phototypes, but it is particularly recommended in specific cases for a harmonious result.

Harmonization with the face
  • Golden and matte complexions: Jade Green is arguably the most flattering color for Mediterranean or mixed-race skin. The green enhances the warm tones of the skin.
  • Red or brown hair: It is the classic match par excellence. The contrast between Jade green and auburn or chocolate hair creates a perfect chromatic balance.
  • Dark brown eyes: For patients with a very dark original iris, Jade Green offers exceptional covering power, allowing a shift from black to green in a perfectly homogeneous way.
The Kerato World process for Jade Green

Choosing this color with us means benefiting from tailor-made support led by Dr. Hojabr.

Before confirming your choice, we perform an HD simulation. For Jade Green, this allows us to verify if the intensity of the green matches your personality. Some patients prefer a very dense green, while others opt for a more diffuse application, allowing the details of their natural iris to appear in the center.

Performed under local anesthesia (eye drops), the procedure lasts about 45 minutes. Dr. Hojabr proceeds with the insertion of the pigment after the Femtosecond Laser step. Recovery is quick: the patient can admire their new Jade gaze as soon as they leave the clinic. Slight light sensitivity may be noted during the first 24 hours, but vision remains intact.

Can green look “too green”?

Jade Green is a bold color, but Dr. Hojabr regulates the pigment density to avoid any artificial look. The goal is to recreate the complexity of a real iris, not to create a flat block of color.

Can Jade be mixed with another color?

It is possible, during subsequent touch-ups, to add touches of Honey or Almond Green to create more complex reflections if the patient wishes to evolve their gaze toward a more nuanced green.

Jade Green is much more than just a color; it is a visual signature that evokes strength and balance. At Kerato World, we have mastered this shade to offer our patients a prestige green, supported by the safety of the FAKtP technique.
