Before / After: Change your eye color

Keratopigmentation in Geneva

“Before/After” galleries are sources of inspiration. However, at Kerato World, we remind you that every result is unique:

  • The influence of the base: An Aquamarine Blue pigment will not have the exact same reflection on a light brown iris as it does on a deep black iris.
  • Lighting: Like a natural iris, your eyes will “change” shade depending on whether you are in the sun, indoors, or under artificial light. This is precisely what guarantees the realism of the technique.

The evolution of the result

Keratopigmentation in Geneva

J-0

Day of the procedure

The change is immediate. Upon leaving the operating room, you discover your new color. At this stage, the pigment is highly saturated, and the eye may show slight redness due to the surgical procedure.

J+1 à J+15

Healing phase

During the first two weeks, the cornea stabilizes. The pigment begins to integrate into the eye’s fibers. The color becomes softer and gains naturalness.

3 mois

Final result

This is the stage where the final rendering is appreciated. The pigment is perfectly fixed, any micro-inflammations have disappeared, and transparency is optimal. It is during this 3-month check-up that the patient definitively validates their new look.

Digital simulation

Before proceeding to the FAKtP intervention, each patient benefits from an in-depth colorimetric study. This step, led by Dr. Hojabr, is essential to harmonize your expectations with the reality of your morphology.

Innovative surface surgery

The decision to change one’s eye color is a major aesthetic step. At Kerato World, we believe that technology should serve not only the surgical act but also the patient’s preparation. This is why we have placed high-definition digital simulation at the heart of our FAKtP protocol.

The objective is simple: to eliminate uncertainty and allow you to choose your shade with confidence, thanks to a realistic and personalized preview of your future gaze.

How does the simulation work?

Rigorous process during your initial consultation

High-Definition Photography

We take macroscopic shots of your eyes under different lighting conditions (natural light and studio light).

Iris Analysis

The software analyzes your current iris structure, its base color, and the potential presence of patterns or pigment spots.

Pigment Projection

We virtually apply pigments from the BIOCHROMAEYES® range (Aquamarine, Jade, Honey, etc.) to your photo.

Intensity Adjustment

Dr. Hojabr modulates the pigment density to show you the difference between a very transparent rendering and a more opaque result.

A decision-making tool

Innovative surface surgery

This simulation allows you to compare several shades on your own face. You will be able to see how a Grey Paris reacts with your skin tone compared to an Olive Green. It is a privileged moment of exchange that allows the surgical project to be adjusted to your personality.

Understanding the result

One of the most frequent questions concerns the final look: “Will it look natural?”

Thanks to the FAKtP protocol, the visual result is radically different from colored contact lenses for two main reasons:

  • Conservation of pupillary dynamics: The pigment is inserted in the form of a ring into the cornea, leaving the center (the pupil) totally free. Your eye continues to dilate and contract naturally according to the light. It is this movement that brings life to the gaze.
  • Corneal depth: As the pigment is placed in the stroma (under the corneal surface), it benefits from the eye’s natural brilliance. Light passes through the cornea before reflecting the color, creating a relief and transparency that only keratopigmentation can offer.
